Yasuji Suzuki, Kyowa’s Chairman of the Board, passed away at the age of 83 on November 18th, 2013. We mourn his loss and recognize with deep gratitude his lifetime of service to the company and his kindness to the people of Kyowa Industrial Co. We would also like to express our gratitude to the many customers and friends who attended his service and have offered their condolences to our company and team. (January 2014)

Kyowa adopted plan for investment in leading edge technologies to improve resource productivity for manufacturing of motorcase and other parts for next-generation autos, with the goal of addressing demands for increased quality, reduced cost and shortened delivery times for mass production prototypes. Received Gunma Prefecture New Technology/New Product Grant (Next Generation Industry Promotion) (2013) Adopted business plan which aims to speed up prototype production process through development of new technologies for next generation automobile development and prototype manufacturing and reduced labor. Received FY 2012 prototype development subsidy for small and medium-sized manufacturing and business enterprises. Adopted business plan to add value through IT-based manufacturing information systems. The plan calls for rebuilding the production management system to reduce delivery time for development of prototype parts for the automobile and aircraft industries. (June 2013)
